Senior Manager, Communications
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections when posting has real specific content. We need to parse content.
Content sections:
- Intro about CLEAR: mission, etc. Could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" could be description of role. The posting includes "CLEAR is looking for a modern, highly strategic communications leader..." That's about the role. So we can have About the role
with paragraph(s) describing role.
- Responsibilities: bullet list under "What You'll Do". That's responsibilities.
- Requirements/Qualifications/Skills: The posting has "How You'll Measure Success" (maybe not needed), "What You're Great At" (requirements/qualifications/skills). Also "How You'll Be Rewarded" includes benefits and pay.
We need to decide which headings to use. We have to include sections only when posting has real specific content.
We have:
- About the role: yes.
- Responsibilities: yes (What You'll Do).
- Requirements: maybe combine qualifications and skills. The posting includes "What You're Great At" which lists experience, media relations instincts, strategic storytelling, builder/doer, cross-functional leadership, experience with AI. That's qualifications/skills.
We could have a single section "Requirements" with bullet list.
- Benefits: posting includes "How You'll Be Rewarded" with details: offices, catered lunches, kitchens, stipends, reimbursement programs, holistic total rewards including healthcare, family-building benefits, flexible time off, wellness stipend, free OneMedical memberships, CLEAR Plus membership, 401(k) with match. Also base salary range.
Thus we can have Benefits section (non-pay) and Pay section.
- Pay: base salary range $150k-$180k.
- Schedule: not mentioned. So we should not include Schedule section.
We must not include boilerplate like EEO, accommodation, scam warning, etc. Remove those.
We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. Must not omit details like "8+ years of communications..." etc.
We need to format lists with - . For prose use
.
We must not repeat job title as heading.
We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers.
We must output only HTML fragment.
Let's craft.

About the role
CLEAR is building THE secure identity company of the future. Our mission is to make experiences safer and easier—physically and digitally. With more than 43 million Members and a growing network of partners across the world, CLEAR's secure identity platform is transforming the way people live, work, and travel. Whether it’s at the airport, stadium, or throughout your everyday life, CLEAR unlocks the magic of frictionless experiences. CLEAR is looking for a modern, highly strategic communications leader to drive earned media and bring our biggest partnerships, products, and company moments to market. You’ll build a proactive communications engine across CLEAR1, CLEAR+, and other key initiatives, developing the strategy while rolling up your sleeves to write, pitch, launch, and execute the work.
Responsibilities
- Own communications approach and execution for major CLEAR announcements, partnerships and launches across CLEAR1, CLEAR+, and other priority areas of the business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with national, business, technology, travel and trade media, as well as new media types, proactively developing stories and opportunities that drive awareness, consideration and understanding of CLEAR
- Turn business priorities into compelling narratives and integrated communications plans, identifying how earned media, executive visibility, partners, owned channels and other communications levers can work together to maximize impact
- Lead announcements from idea through execution, developing messaging, writing press materials, pitching media, preparing spokespeople, coordinating internal and external stakeholders and ensuring flawless launch execution
- Build the processes, rhythms and tools that make CLEAR’s communications function increasingly proactive and scalable, creating visibility into upcoming moments and identifying opportunities to tell a bigger, more connected CLEAR story
Requirements
- 8+ years of communications, public relations or media relations experience, with a track record of personally developing and executing high-impact announcements and earned media strategies
- Exceptional media relations instincts and strong reporter relationships, with the ability to identify what makes a story compelling and earn attention in a rapidly changing media landscape
- Strategic storytelling—you can understand complex business objectives, find the story within them and build a communications approach that reaches the right audiences through the right channels
- Operating as both a builder and a doer—you’re energized by creating new processes and strategies, but equally comfortable writing the press release, pitching the story and owning the details required to get an announcement over the finish line
- Cross-functional leadership and excellent judgment—you can create clarity among senior leaders, business teams and external partners, manage multiple high-priority workstreams and move quickly in an environment where priorities evolve
- Experience and deep curiosity and excitement, about how AI can be used to accelerate communications, outcomes, and performance
Benefits
- Work with talented team members motivated by our mission of making experiences safer and easier
- Bright, energetic offices with open concept, plenty of conference rooms and casual co-working spaces
- Catered lunches every day and fully stocked kitchens
- Investment in well‑being and learning & development with stipends and reimbursement programs
- Holistic total rewards including comprehensive healthcare plans
- Family‑building benefits (fertility and adoption/surrogacy support)
- Flexible time off
- Annual wellness stipend
- Free OneMedical memberships for you and your dependents
- A CLEAR Plus membership
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer match
Pay
The base salary range for this role is $150,000.00 - $180,000.00, depending on levels of skills and experience. The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance.
We should not include the sentence about "The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units." That's also substantive; we should include it. It's part of Pay section. So add that as another sentence.
Also we should not include EEO etc. Remove.
Check for any other substantive content: "How You'll Measure Success" section includes metrics; we could include as a separate section maybe "Success Metrics" but not in allowed headings list. The allowed headings are limited to those enumerated; we should not create other headings. So we should incorporate that info somewhere else, maybe under Responsibilities or Requirements? But it's about measuring success, not responsibilities or requirements. Could be included as a separate section but not allowed heading. The instruction: "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." It says e.g., implying those are examples but we should stick to those? It says "Use for section headings (e.g. About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule)." Likely they expect us to use those headings only. So we should not add extra headings like "How You'll Measure Success". We could incorporate that info into Responsibilities or Requirements? It's about measuring success, maybe could be part of Responsibilities (as part of role). But better to add a short paragraph under Responsibilities about success metrics? However the instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could add a paragraph under Responsibilities about how success measured. But we must preserve all substantive information; we can't omit it. So we need to include that info somewhere.
We could add a
under Responsibilities after the list, describing success metrics. Or we could create a separate section "Success Metrics" but that's not in the list; risk of being considered not allowed. Safer to embed within Responsibilities.
Similarly, "How You'll Be Rewarded" includes benefits and pay; we already captured.
Thus we need to incorporate the success metrics: "Quality, relevance and reach of earned media coverage across priority audiences and outlets; Share of voice and positive sentiment around CLEAR’s priority products, partnerships and company narratives; Awareness and consideration generated by communications campaigns and major announcements; Growth in proactive storytelling opportunities and consistent execution against CLEAR’s communications calendar". We'll add as a paragraph after responsibilities list.
Also note there is a line: "Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or other characteristics protected by law." That's EEO boilerplate; we must remove.
Also accommodation statement; remove.
Also scam warning; remove.
Also "We are committed to a transparent and secure hiring process..." that's also boilerplate; remove.
Thus final HTML includes sections: About the role, Responsibilities (with list and then a paragraph about success metrics), Requirements, Benefits, Pay.
We must not include Schedule.
Check for any other substantive content: "How You'll Measure Success" we covered. "How You'll Be Rewarded" we covered benefits and pay.
Now ensure we didn't repeat any boilerplate.
Let's craft final HTML.
Be careful to not include any markdown fences.
We'll output:
