Responsibilities
- Portfolio Leadership & Management: Manage a portfolio of private business investments, including partnerships, LLCs, and corporations, performing investment reviews, developing recommendations, and determining valuations for fiduciary and fee-related purposes.
- Portfolio Management & Valuation: Manage a portfolio of private business investments, including partnerships, LLCs, and corporations; perform investment reviews, develop recommendations, and determine valuations for fiduciary and fee-related purposes.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements, industry dynamics, and corporate structures to assess risk and determine the value of closely held business interests.
- Corporate Actions & Transactions: Evaluate and make determinations on proxy votes, tender offers, reorganizations, and lead asset sale decisions, including execution and documentation of transactions.
- Client & Advisor Engagement: Communicate with clients and their professional advisors regarding investment performance, strategy, and recommendations.
- Risk & Fiduciary Governance: Partner with risk, legal, and compliance teams and ensure fiduciary decisions align with governing documents, client objectives, and regulatory requirements; escalate complex matters through established governance channels.
- Subject Matter Expertise & Team Development: Serve as a subject matter expert on closely held assets while training and mentoring junior team members.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with internal partners to address complex or sensitive investment matters and ensure appropriate risk mitigation.
- Other Duties: Performing other duties as assigned, adapting to new tasks or shifts in priorities as necessary to support your team’s and the company’s mission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in commercial credit, business analysis or equivalent experience.

- Qualified candidates will possess a demonstrated degree of proficiency (typically from 7+ years of work or practical experience), in:
- Financial Analysis & Valuation: Ability to evaluate complex financial statements and determine the value of privately held business interests.
- Portfolio & Investment Management: Experience managing complex, nonmarketable or illiquid investment portfolios.
- Client Relationship Management: Ability to communicate effectively with clients and professional advisors on complex investment matters.
- Decision Making & Judgment: Strong ability to evaluate transactions, corporate actions, and asset disposition opportunities.
- Organization & Time Management: Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Qualified candidates will possess a demonstrated degree of proficiency (typically from 7+ years of work or practical experience), in:
- Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated ability to lead through expertise, influence stakeholders, and guide team members in a complex environment.
- Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex and ambiguous issues.
- Research & Due Diligence: Strong investigative skills to support investment recommendations and risk assessments.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Client Focus: Commitment to delivering strong client service and maintaining effective relationships.
Pay
Total Base Pay Range: $96,500.00 - $207,500.00 USD Annually
