Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement activities for capital projects from sourcing strategy through contract award and execution
- Develop and implement capital procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and project portfolios
- Drive cost savings, cost avoidance, and total cost of ownership improvements across capital spend
- Deliver measurable value while supporting project scope, schedule, quality, and budget objectives
- Lead contract negotiations, change management, claims resolution, and supplier performance management
- Establish and maintain procurement governance, compliance, and risk management practices
- Build and manage strategic supplier relationships to support long-term capital planning
- Oversee procurement activities performed by site teams, contractors, and EPC/EPCM partners
- Identify and mitigate commercial, supply chain, logistics, and schedule risks
- Track and report procurement performance metrics, savings, compliance, and supplier effectiveness
- Serve as the subject matter expert for capital procurement across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 15 years of procurement experience, including 10+ years supporting capital projects
- Experience managing procurement for capital projects ranging from $5M to $100M+
- Experience with ERP and procurement systems such as JD Edwards, Coupa, or similar platforms
- Ability to travel up to 10%
