What You’ll Do

  • Manages brand integration; work with clients to understand and exceed their business objectives.
  • Manages client and partner relationships to secure most efficient and effective partnerships in support of client brand strategies.
  • Manages interagency relationships; works with outside agencies and partners to ensure smooth execution of all client programs.
  • Maintains a good working relationship with key stakeholders to ensure all parties receive appropriate attention, support, and ensures THE·TEAM is in lock-step with the client’s plans as it relates to the growth and changes.
  • Understands the landscape for each client’s business as well as the industry contexts for their investments.
  • Builds cutting edge strategic plans for clients to meet and exceed objectives.
  • Builds relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.
  • Uses forward thinking initiative to identify the next best strategic opportunities and continue to deliver top results to the client.
  • Manages client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables.
  • Sets up and manages client-facing project management systems and legal processes for the purposes of supporting the creation and approval of different project documents.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • 5+ years relevant experience with minimum 3 years of direct experience in account and project management (preferably in sports league and/or team partnerships)
  • Experience in direct brand or marketing strategy a plus
  • Robust understanding of sports property, rights, and media landscape
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the sports and entertainment landscape with a working knowledge of what is happening across culture today
  • Effective contract negotiation skills and familiarity with contract development
  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and web-based project management tools; advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel for deck development and budget management
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with people of all demographics
  • Requires self-management, including the ability to assess a situation and quickly implement solutions
  • Must be able to multi-task and be flexible enough to react under stressful circumstances
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
  • High level of initiative and works well independently and in a team environment
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Ability to think creatively in a team environment
  • Must be flexible and react calmly under stressful circumstances
