Senior Manager, Audience and Program Marketing
About the role
We’re looking for a strategic, growth-oriented, and highly collaborative Senior Manager, Audience Marketing, to lead global customer marketing programs, events, and targeted GTM initiatives that create sourced pipeline for acquisition and expansion plays while promoting customer advocacy. This role ensures Darktrace’s most critical priorities land with consistent, high-impact execution across regions. You will design, own, and execute customer programs and experiences across the journey, partnering with marketing functions and customer success teams to engage and activate the right audiences.

Responsibilities
- Strategy and Execution for Targeted Program Marketing
- Develop and execute 3-5 targeted programs annually to deliver pipeline, meetings, and exceptional customer experiences.
- Manage active marketing plans and customer journeys addressing key audience use cases, customer needs, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements.
- Create audience and/or industry-specific plays in partnership with PMM and GTM to align messaging, positioning, content, use cases, and regional activations that drive meaningful engagement and revenue influence.
- Build promotion plans with key marketing functions across inbound and outbound to engage the right cohorts and open new relationships and opportunities.
- Create activation-ready toolkits by audience for consistent, cohesive experiences across channels.
- Design repeatable frameworks, planning cadences, activation playbooks, and connected workflows for consistent global execution and measurable outcomes.
- Pipeline & Demand Generation
- Own pipeline creation and acceleration for defined audience segments.
- Build a repeatable, data-driven targeted program engine.
- Plan, orchestrate, and execute virtual and in-person events to drive Darktrace value and scale programs.
- Leverage or create marketing materials that connect experiences based on contact responses across critical channels.
- Drive presence and influence within Darktrace communities, associations, and thought-leadership platforms.
- Competitive & Market Intelligence
- Monitor cybersecurity and AI trends, funding priorities, and competitive insights to inform plans and plays for sales, product, and executive leadership.
- Operational Excellence
- Define KPIs for awareness, engagement, and pipeline contribution; track, measure, and report monthly and quarterly.
- Build repeatable processes leveraging Darktrace systems for campaign execution and optimization.
- Manage marketing budget with 100% accuracy and transparency, delivering ROI and pipeline.
- Customer Events
- Own and scale Darktrace’s global customer event portfolio (including Tech Meetups and Defender Days) to strengthen technical engagement, deepen value realization, and create pathways to customer advocacy and expansion opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with marketing, product marketing, customer success, and other key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment on priorities, plays, pipeline goals, and execution to accelerate deals and Darktrace’s market position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, and/or communications.
- 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3 years in technology companies.
- Experience marketing cybersecurity, cloud, AI, or platform solutions is a plus.
- Proven track record driving pipeline and influencing sales outcomes.
- Strong storyteller who can translate technical capabilities into use cases with clear value and benefits that drive action.
- Experience with ABM, field marketing, events management, and integrated demand generation.
- Experience designing targeted programs and plays (industry, segment, region, or cohort-based) that influence pipeline and support GTM priorities.
- Proven ability to scale event programs—including webinars, executive dinners, and tradeshow ancillary events—using repeatable frameworks and templates.
- Ability to operate in a fast-moving, competitive cybersecurity landscape with agility and deal with ambiguity.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, especially partnering with stakeholders across product marketing, customer success, sales, and marketing, and interfacing with customers and partners.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation and digital marketing tools (e.g., Salesforce, Marketo/HubSpot, Gainsight).
- Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder alignment abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.

Pay
$130,000–$150,000 plus bonus.
