About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manager/Associate Director, Quality & Supply Chain Systems to join our team. This individual will support the implementation and management of the Quality and Supply Chain IT systems, partnering with leaders across Quality and Supply Chain and other functions to drive adoption, operations, and ongoing enhancements. This position reports to the Director, Development Information Systems and will be based out of our Needham, MA office. The level of the position will be commensurate with the candidate’s education and industry experience. Hybrid positions require a minimum of two onsite days per week; on-site positions require up to five on-site days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with functional stakeholders and vendors to build new solutions supporting the Quality and Supply Chain functions, including integrations between systems and between Xenon and key service providers.
  • Author, review, and approve applicable SDLC deliverables, and coordinate assurance and other testing activities.
  • Develop, review, and approve procedures defining System Administration activities.
  • Collaborate with Xenon’s Architecture Review Board to ensure the system design is consistent with company standards for security, infrastructure, and data architecture.
  • Own the day-to-day operations and configurations of Supply Chain Systems (iStability, Oracle Fusion ERP, etc.).
  • Support the day-to-day operations and configuration of the Veeva Development suite (RIM, Quality, etc.).
  • Support the day-to-day operations and configuration of other Development IT systems (SAS, Egnyte, etc.).
  • Maintain hands-on involvement in system administration and configuration, including workflows, metadata, security, reference data, and system settings.
  • Perform user administration and manage licensing across Quality and Supply Chain IT systems.
  • Support the design, development, and documentation of effective data flows and integrations among systems to enable efficient processes and workflows (including automation) and effective reporting and analytics.
  • Support user onboarding, system training, and operational adoption from a system and process perspective.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and maintain roadmaps, continuous improvement initiatives, and system standardization efforts.
  • Manage vendor/MSP relationships related to IT systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support on change control activities.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Xenon procedures including SaaS Release Management, Change Management, Problem Management, etc.
  • Act in accordance with Company policies, including the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, and ensure policies are understood and followed by direct reports, if any.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Life Sciences industry. Experience supporting pre-commercial or early commercial biotech organizations preferred.
  • Proven experience with the Veeva suite of products, Supply Chain planning and execution systems (including ERP), and other key Development IT systems (Veeva certification a plus).
  • Strong understanding of the Quality and Supply Chain business processes.
  • Knowledge of user management administration.
  • Experience managing vendors/MSPs and collaborating with business stakeholders to prioritize support or enhancement requests.
  • Experience with system integrations (APIs, data flows, connectors).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across business and technical teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay

Compensation Range: $150,000 - $226,100

Schedule

Hybrid positions require a minimum of two onsite days per week; on-site positions require up to five on-site days per week.
