Senior Manager/Associate Director, CMC Project Management

Responsibilities

  • Aid Business Development in preparing quotations/proposals with inputs from key stakeholders.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of projects.
  • Establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Closely monitor/control project progression to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Report project progress to all key stakeholders.
  • Support the technical team to investigate potential issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Serve as the liaison for client contacts and manage day-to-day communications.
  • Represent the company in project meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and follow through on action items.
  • Evaluate and assess project results and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Provide support to the business development team by attending customer visits, conferences, or trade shows.

Qualifications

  • Master's (MS) or PhD in Chemistry or Pharmaceutical Sciences, with 2+ years of pharmaceutical or CRO/CMO industry experience preferred.
  • Project management experience preferred.
  • Must be bilingual (fluent in English and Mandarin).
  • Strong and effective project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record working cross-functionally across a wide variety of technical, business, and operational areas.
  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and small molecule drug development process.
  • Experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) is preferred, but not required.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, and highly flexible.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills).
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required.

Pay

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $125,000.
