About the role
Our client, a leader in the Healthcare space, is seeking a Senior Manager Application Development to join their team. This remote leadership role will guide application development efforts that support electronic health record capabilities and related clinical workflows. The position will partner closely with project managers, functional stakeholders, and technical teams to translate business needs into future-state solutions. Success in this role will depend on the ability to document requirements, support system maintenance, and improve processes through structured analysis and implementation planning. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience with EHR configuration and support, along with a strong understanding of ambulatory workflows and testing practices. Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and fulfillment of EHR use cases
- Document discovery and implementation efforts
- Define business and functional requirements along with future-state workflows
- Collaborate with Project Managers on task identification and estimations
- Support vendor upgrades and system maintenance
- Analyze current-state processes and collaborate on future-state improvements
- Document process and data gaps
Qualifications
- Minimum five years of related experience
- Previous management experience
- Two or more Epic Certifications, such as Ambulatory or Healthy Planet
- Strong experience in configuring and supporting EHR solutions
- Knowledge of ambulatory workflows
- Experience in test planning and execution
