Key Responsibilities Employee Relations Act as a trusted, approachable resource for employees and managers across all levels of the organizationLead workplace investigations with confidentiality, objectivity, and sound judgmentSupport managers through performance management, corrective action, and termination processesPromote a positive, inclusive, and compliant workplace culture Talent Acquisition Own full-cycle recruiting for a range of roles — from operations and compliance to client-facing and leadership positionsPartner with hiring managers to define hiring needs, build job descriptions, and deliver a consistent, professional candidate experienceDevelop sourcing strategies to attract top financial services talent in a competitive marketManage offer negotiations, background screening, and pre-employment requirements common in financial services (e.g., FINRA background checks, credit history reviews where applicable) Compliance & Employment Law Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO, Title VII, etc.)Ensure HR policies, practices, and documentation align with financial industry regulatory standardsPartner with Legal and Compliance teams as needed on employment-related mattersSupport internal audits and assist with regulatory examinations as they relate to HR records and practices HR Operations Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and ensure data integrityAdminister benefits programs, open enrollment, and leave managementUpdate and communicate HR policies and the employee handbook as laws and business needs evolveAssist in HR reporting and people analytics for senior leadership Learning, Development & Onboarding Design and facilitate onboarding for new hires, ensuring they understand both company culture and industry-specific compliance expectationsCoordinate training initiatives including required regulatory and ethics trainingSupport performance review cycles and identify development opportunities across the organization HR Leadership Support Serve as a strategic day-to-day partner to the Head of HR, taking initiative on projects that drive the function forwardContribute to workforce planning efforts as the company scalesRepresent HR with professionalism and credibility across all departments Qualifications 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience; financial services, banking, fintech, or a similarly regulated industry strongly preferredSolid working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirementsFamiliarity with financial industry hiring considerations is a plusFull-cycle recruiting experience across a variety of role typesDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalismStrong communicator with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organizationProficiency with HRIS platforms (Rippling, Lattice, Greenhouse) and Microsoft Office SuitePHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferredOccasional travel required (less than 10%) Why Join Us We're at an exciting stage of growth which means real opportunity for the right person to make their mark, build programs from the ground up, and grow alongside the company.
