Senior Manager, AI Safety and Security Engineering

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, and grow the founding engineering team
• Lead the Find, Validate, and Patch engineering roadmap
• Collaborate with leadership from evaluation, security, and platform teams
• Share clear and honest engineering status updates across the organization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 12+ years in software engineering
• 5+ years managing engineering teams
• Experience guiding teams on complex systems like distributed infrastructure or security tooling
• Ability to assess architecture and evaluation trade-offs in ML or systems software
• Comfortable working in a rapidly evolving program where many elements are undefined

• $272,000 – $431,250 annually
