Senior Manager, Accounting Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Accounting Operations team, providing coaching and creating growth opportunities
• Own the end-to-end monthly close process, managing timelines and dependencies effectively
• Serve as the primary operational reviewer for close reconciliations and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual processes across the accounting team
• Build strong partnerships across Finance and Accounting functions to align improvement workstreams

Qualifications

• 8+ years progressive accounting experience, preferably at the Senior Manager level and in an international environment
• Experience in a high-growth, multi-entity company with revenues over $200M; tech background favored
• Proven people-management experience, including coaching and development of accountants
• Strong foundation in US GAAP, with knowledge in ASC 842 lease accounting
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite and familiarity with modern close management platforms like Numeric or BlackLine
• Track record of leading automation initiatives within accounting functions, ideally with AI tools
• Strong audit support experience, capable of interacting with external auditors
• Effective communicator, able to produce concise documentation for an executive audience
