Senior Management Consultant
Aligned is expanding its team with 30 Senior Management Consultants across various specialties to support frontier AI research. This role involves designing expert-level evaluation frameworks and problem formulations that today's leading AI models struggle with, as well as evaluating and pressure-testing frontier AI systems. This is not tutoring, teaching, or generic annotation work.

Who We're Looking For
We are looking for senior consultants or advisors with extensive experience working on complex, ambiguous, and high-stakes problems who are comfortable applying structured judgment in technical or analytical contexts. This opportunity is well suited for professionals at the Senior Associate, Manager, Senior Manager, Principal, Managing Director, Partner, or equivalent level.
Ideal Backgrounds
- Consultants with experience in core consulting domains such as change management, financial advisory, operating model design, transformation, or value creation
- Current or former consultants at leading strategy firms such as McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, and Bain & Company
- Current or former consultants at elite strategy boutiques such as Oliver Wyman, Strategy&, Kearney, EY-Parthenon, LEK Consulting, and Roland Berger
- Current or former consultants in Big Four strategy practices such as Monitor Deloitte, PwC Strategy&, EY-Parthenon, and Accenture Strategy
- Current or former consultants in advanced analytics and AI strategy groups such as BCG GAMMA, McKinsey Analytics, Bain Advanced Analytics, and QuantumBlack
- Former consultants now working in corporate strategy or AI strategy roles, including Big Tech strategy teams, Fortune 500 corporate strategy groups, and AI lab strategy functions
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluent English reading and writing skills
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, strategy, or advanced advisory roles
- Demonstrated ability to structure, evaluate, and pressure-test complex analyses or models
- Track record of working with senior stakeholders and high-impact organizations
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred, but not required (equivalent experience will be strongly considered)
