About the role

The Senior Management Accountant is responsible for leading the site’s management accounting, budgeting, cost control and financial performance analysis for a large-scale gold mining operation in Tanzania. The role provides accurate, timely and insightful financial information to support operational decision making, drive cost efficiency, optimise cash flow and ensure compliance with both Group policies and Tanzanian regulatory requirements. This position serves as a key business partner to Operations, Maintenance, Processing, Mining, Supply Chain and Projects teams. The incumbent will be responsible for translating operational data into financial impacts, supporting strategic and operational planning for the mine, and presenting financial results to senior site leadership to ensure the financial health and operational success of the facility.
