Senior Maintenance Technician - Villas on McQueen

About the role

Join our Team as a Senior Maintenance Technician in Chandler, AZ! Are you a hands-on maintenance leader who enjoys tackling repairs, resolving maintenance issues, and keeping a property operating at its best? We're looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician for our brand-new affordable housing community, Villas on McQueen (157-units), in Chandler AZ.

Responsibilities

• Organize, schedule, and oversee the maintenance workflow for the community.
• Work within established budgets and assist with managing vendor relationships and bidding processes.
• Respond to work orders and perform corrective maintenance with professionalism and resident focus.
• Perform daily property walks to keep the property & grounds clean, safe, and looking sharp.
• Cook up with the Property Manager to coordinate all move-ins and move-outs.
• Maintain a schedule for the timely completion of apartment make-readies.
• Tackle seasonal prep such as fall cleanup.
• Conduct regular preventative maintenance and property inspections.
• Participate in the on-call emergency maintenance rotation as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of maintenance experience required, lead experience is a plus!
• Strong mechanical aptitude and effective communication skills.
• Able to read and complete work orders and service requests.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, and appliance repair.
• Valid Driver's License and insurable driving record.
• Able to participate in on-call emergency rotation.
• Reside in Chandler or within reasonable driving distance, as we do not provide employee housing.
• HVAC EPA Type ll or Universal certification preferred.
