Senior Maintenance Technician - On-Site San Antonio, Texas

About the role

As a CBRE Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
