Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions
- Maintain and inspect buildings, furnishings, equipment and grounds.
- Perform or assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations.
- Conduct routine inspections and address concerns impacting building performance, employee comfort, and safety.
- Assist with emergency response and event setup.
- Oversee vendor work and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Support leadership in complex projects.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a related field (facilities, maintenance, construction or related fields).
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and a combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
- Strong knowledge of building system terms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, math, written, verbal, and collaborative skills.
- Preferred technical certifications in building systems (generators, UPS, HVAC, fire detection).
Benefits
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additional paid time off includes bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave. Hourly pay rate is in the range of $24.23 - $36.35/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
