Senior Maintenance Technician

Primary Responsibilities And Essential Functions

• Maintain and inspect buildings, furnishings, equipment and grounds.
• Perform or assist with repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations of various systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and address concerns impacting building performance, employee comfort, and safety.
• Handle minor landscape repairs, janitorial duties, and provide support for security and sustainability efforts.
• Assist with reconfigurations, furniture relocations, and setups for events.
• Oversee vendor work, ensure compliance with regulations, and support leadership in complex projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a related field (facilities, maintenance, construction or related fields).
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 3 years' experience.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Strong knowledge of building system terms and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, multi-tasking, math, written, verbal, and collaborative skills.
• Preferred technical certifications in building systems (generators, UPS, HVAC, fire detection).

Benefits

Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Additional paid time off includes bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave. Hourly pay rate is in the range of $24.23 - $36.35/hour, with potential additional compensation through commissions and incentive programs.
