Shift Times: 7:00AM - 3:30PM M-F
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Here's What You'll Do
- Demonstrate the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks, and interactions with others.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and programmatic issues across the facility and manufacturing systems.
- Lead advanced preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Partner with engineers to implement process and equipment improvements.
- Guide machine installation, commissioning, and system upgrades.
- Oversee facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical distribution, water, and compressed air systems.
- Lead root cause analysis for major equipment or facility failures and implement corrective actions.
- Develop technical documentation, including maintenance SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
- Develop and deliver training for associate- and mid-level technicians.
- Cover major repair projects, including vendor management and contractor oversight.
- Track and analyze maintenance data to drive reliability and efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure strict adherence to lockout/tagout (LOTO), OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
- Act as a technical advisor to operations leadership, contributing input for capital planning, facility upgrades, and long-term reliability strategies.
- Provide after-hours technical support and coordinate emergency maintenance response when needed.
- Support Operations Team in shared goals & initiatives.

About the Role

Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in industrial and facilities maintenance, with advanced expertise in troubleshooting and repair.
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in facility infrastructure maintenance (HVAC, chillers, power distribution, plumbing).
- Certified Master Electrician, Programmer, Licenced Boiler technician, and Certified Welder (having all skills/certifications preferred).
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior staff.
- Skilled in interpreting complex schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated success in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives.
- Excellent project management and vendor coordination skills.
