Senior Machinist - 2nd Shift
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Senior Machinist I to set up and operate a variety of manual and CNC machine tools. This role involves machining metallic and non-metallic parts while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency in a clean, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up fixtures in both manual and CNC machines
- Operate manual and CNC machines including lathes and milling machines
- Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and specifications
- Select tooling and determine feeds, speeds, and depth of cut
- Secure tooling and position workpieces in appropriate holding devices
- Load and run CNC programs
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
- Inspect parts to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances
- Complete required production and inspection documentation
- Maintain quality standards and support efficient production processes
Qualifications
- 2–8 years of machining experience required
- Experience with manual and CNC machine operation
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read blueprints and follow detailed instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good vision for inspection and computer-based tasks

Pay Range
Competitive pay: $29–$31/hour based on experience
