Senior Machine Operator - FEP (Third Shift)

Responsibilities

• Perform line assembly operations (including machine operations) to produce medical components under limited supervision.
• Execute complex tasks associated with the fabrication of medical components.
• Assemble components according to approved standards and procedures.
• Perform complex set-up and adjustments of manufacturing equipment.
• Conduct complex quality inspections of own or others' work.
• Trained on multiple workstations, with at least three considered complex and/or critical.
• Accurately record and complete all manufacturing documentation.
• Gather information and complete complex production reports as requested.
• Provide suggestions to improve quality, safety, output, and ergonomics.
• Perform material transactions.
• Work with engineers to produce custom parts and follow engineering protocols.
• Interact with other functional groups (e.g., quality) to resolve issues.
• Provide advice and guidance to lower-level teammates.
• Perform job functions while walking and/or standing up to 100% of the time during a shift.
• Complete basic production, health, safety, and environmental hazard training courses.
• Follow all corporate, safety, and production standard operating procedures.
• Ensure personal and company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and company regulations, policies, and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
• Perform entry-level preventive maintenance tasks.
• Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical trade and/or aptitude.
• Ability to work varying shifts and overtime as required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to complete company/department-training courses.
• Ability to read/interpret complex engineering drawings and other technical documentation associated with production.
• Ability to use optical comparator, video systems, and other magnification systems for assembly and/or inspection processes.
• Ability to use and read measuring devices such as rulers, calipers, micrometers, reticules, pull testers, thermometers, and gauges.
• Ability to distribute work and effectively convey instructions to others.
• Understand and apply regulatory (QSR, ISO) requirements in everyday activities.
• Ability to use PCs and associated software.
