Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Safety

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy ML models, especially large language models for processing language
• Develop and maintain efficient training pipelines to enhance performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and refine model architectures
• Perform evaluations and optimizations on model performance metrics and biases
• Stay informed on the latest NLP research and advancements in large language models
• Contribute to ethical AI practices and guidelines for responsible ML development

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in NLP and AI model development
• Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
• Expertise in distributed training frameworks to leverage hardware efficiently
• In-depth knowledge of data preprocessing, tokenization, and language modeling techniques
• Commitment to creating impactful and responsible AI solutions
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams
• Self-motivated and action-oriented in dynamic environments

Pay

$216,700 – $303,400 annually
