Senior Machine Learning Engineer Manager

About the role

Lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. Work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle including data collection, model development, deployment, and monitoring
• Research and apply novel machine learning techniques to enhance recommendation systems and AI models
• Mentor team members on best practices in coding, design patterns, testing, and documentation
• Hire, onboard, and retain talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
• Communicate technical concepts and results clearly to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Master or PhD in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or relevant work experience)
• 5+ years of experience managing machine learning engineering teams at scale
• Experience in building and scaling machine learning models in business environments using large data sets
• Strong ability to explain data science concepts to diverse audiences
• Focus on delivering practical business solutions rather than striving for perfection
• Agile development approach with an emphasis on constant iteration and improvement

Pay

$236,700 – $309,025 annually
