Senior Machine Learning Engineer II, Ads Response Prediction

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of pCTR and conversion prediction models focused on bias reduction
• Design and implement debiasing techniques to improve model accuracy
• Contribute to the architecture of a next-generation Multi-Domain Multi-Task model
• Drive the initiatives around sequence modeling and retrieval systems
• Collaborate on advancing Foundation Models for user behavior prediction
• Formulate and scope modeling problems from business observations to clear research directions
• Present findings and contribute to a culture of technical rigor in the team

Qualifications

• PhD/Master in machine learning, statistics, computer science, or related quantitative field with 6+ years of academic and industry experience in ML for scaling ranking, recommendation, or prediction
• Deep understanding of CTR/conversion prediction modeling and relevant architectures
• Strong foundation in causal inference and various bias mitigation techniques
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
• Demonstrated ability to convert ambiguous problems into clear ML research directions
• Strong communication skills to convey complex models to cross-functional teams
