Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist

For our client, a leader in the Information Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Data Scientist to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action.

Responsibilities

• Own the full model lifecycle from development to monitoring
• Translate complex fraud patterns into actionable ML models
• Design and maintain feature engineering pipelines for model development
• Monitor production model quality and detect data drift
• Collaborate with teams to define effective fraud strategies
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.)
• 3+ years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• In-depth understanding of machine learning fundamentals and evaluation methodologies
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost
• High attention to detail and strong intellectual curiosity regarding user behavior and fraud patterns
• Must be located within the continental United States

Pay

$135,000 – $165,000 annually
