Responsibilities
- Lead finance workstreams across the full M&A lifecycle, including diligence, deal planning, close readiness, Day 1 execution, and post-close integration
- Partner with finance sub-functions and cross-functional M&A stakeholders to assess risks and opportunities, support transaction recommendations, and drive execution planning
- Lead finance diligence activities, including analysis of historical and projected financial performance, operating metrics, cash flow, working capital, and key transaction assumptions
- Review transaction materials and agreements to provide finance input on deal structure, financial risks, and key provisions
- Synthesize diligence findings, financial risks, and integration considerations into clear recommendations and decision-ready materials for leadership
- Analyze and negotiate key transaction and closing considerations, including minimum cash requirements, net working capital, funds flow, purchase price adjustments, escrows, holdbacks, and related closing mechanics
- Cook up pre-close planning across core finance functions, including Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, FP&A, Treasury, Payroll, Tax, etc. to support Day 1 readiness and continuity of operations
- Develop and execute finance integration plans, including governance, milestone tracking, executive updates, risk management, issue resolution, and decision-making processes
- Partner with acquired company finance teams and Autodesk stakeholders to transition processes, systems, controls, vendors, bank accounts, and reporting into Autodesk’s operating model
- Support closing and post-close execution activities, including review of seller deliverables, finance approvals, onboarding and transition planning, and transaction-related settlements in partnership with cross-functional teams
- Track integration progress, critical dependencies, and blockers against transaction objectives, escalating issues and driving timely resolution as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and scale M&A finance processes, tools, templates, and governance, while building strong relationships and influencing effectively across a matrixed organization
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; 9+ years of relevant experience in M&A finance, transaction advisory, strategic finance, corporate finance, FP&A, and/or finance integration; Demonstrated experience supporting transactions through financial diligence, modeling, close, and post-close integration; Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes; MBA, CPA, or other advanced finance or accounting credentials preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the technology or SaaS industry; Experience supporting software, cloud, or subscription-based business models; Familiarity with valuation concepts and transaction metrics; Experience supporting finance integration in acquisitions, divestitures, or complex business transformations; Experience with enterprise finance systems and reporting tools; Continuous improvement mindset with experience enhancing finance processes, governance, and operating models
Qualifications

Pay
The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 annually, depending on experience and location.
