Senior LPN/LVN - Advanced Urology Clinic

About the role

The Advanced Urology Clinic at Raleigh General Hospital seeks a Senior LPN/LVN to join their team. This position requires 6 years of clinical experience and includes responsibilities such as collecting and documenting patient intake data, maintaining patient records, providing patient support, assisting with routine clinic activities, and coordinating nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Collects and documents patient intake data.
• Maintains accurate and complete patient records.
• Provides patient support considering emotional, physical, social, cultural, religious, and economic influences.
• Affords advocacy for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
• Maintains an appropriate, safe, and therapeutic environment according to clinic policy.
• Facilitates accessibility and continuity of care for patients.
• Coordinates requests between physicians and office staff regarding patient activities and needs.
• Assists with quality controls of point-of-care testing.
• Supports staffing decisions when management is unavailable.
• Assists with orientation and training of personnel and students.
• Attends meetings as required and/or assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

Must have a current LPN license to practice in the state of MCertifications include BCLS (Health Care Provider) and BCLS Trainer for Occupational Medicine Specific Only.

Qualifications

Graduate of an LPN program.

Skills

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
