Senior Loss Control Specialist (Workers Compensation)

About the role

The Senior Loss Control Specialist (Workers Compensation) is responsible for identifying and mitigating risks associated with workers' compensation claims. This position requires a deep understanding of insurance policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze workers' compensation claims to determine appropriate coverage and potential liabilities.
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce workers' compensation costs and improve risk management practices.
• Collaborate with legal and insurance professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and insurance policies.
• Provide guidance and support to employees on workplace safety and injury prevention.
• Monitor trends in workers' compensation claims and industry practices to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in loss control, workers' compensation, or a similar field.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

$70,000 - $90,000 annually.
