Senior Logistics & Procurement Analyst
About the role
The Senior Logistics & Procurement Analyst supports the global sourcing, procurement, logistics, and supply chain operations that enable CDN, network, and datacenter infrastructure deployments at Fastly. This role is crucial for managing the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, coordinating global shipments, ensuring inventory availability, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Execute global procurement and logistics operations supporting CDN, network, and datacenter infrastructure deployments, ensuring hardware is delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage supplier relationships, strategic sourcing activities, and contract negotiations to optimize cost, quality, delivery performance, and long-term vendor partnerships.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement and logistics processes, including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier onboarding, transportation, customs compliance, inventory management, and deployment readiness.
- Review and approve purchase orders and supplier invoices, partnering with Finance and Accounting to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and timely payment processing.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through supplier optimization, freight management, process improvements, and operational efficiencies while monitoring supplier performance and inventory health.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with Infrastructure Acquisition Managers, Datacenter Operations, Finance, and project teams to mitigate supply chain risks and support global infrastructure expansion.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, logistics, or infrastructure operations, preferably supporting datacenter, network, or technology environments.
- Strong knowledge of global procurement, supplier management, contract negotiations, logistics operations, inventory management, and international shipping compliance.
- Experience managing purchase orders, invoice approvals, budgeting, and financial controls, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiencies.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Finance, Datacenter Operations, and external suppliers in a fast-paced global environment.
Qualifications
- Supporting procurement and logistics operations for datacenter, network, CDN, cloud, or large-scale infrastructure environments.
- Managing global hardware deployments, including servers, networking equipment, optics, rack integration, and colocation facilities.
- Working with ERP, procurement, and inventory management platforms such as Coupa, NetSuite, or similar systems.
- Driving supply chain optimization initiatives that improve delivery performance, reduce costs, mitigate risk, or enhance operational scalability.

Pay
The estimated salary range for this position is $113,220 - $159,840. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

This position is a remote role and open to candidates residing in the following locations: US. This position may require travel as required by your role or requested by your manager.
