About the role

Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/ESDI) at Hill AFB in Ogden, UT.

Responsibilities

  • Provides expert-level logistics and product support expertise to Department of War (DoW) programs.
  • Supports government leadership with acquisition lifecycle planning, sustainment strategy development, risk management, and logistics execution to ensure mission readiness and long-term system viability.
  • Identifies and analyzes funding, manpower, material, facility, and service requirements necessary to support assigned programs.
  • Correlates program requirements with execution plans to ensure timely and effective logistics support.
  • Develops and maintains sustainment planning documentation including LCSPs, ILSPs, PS-BCAs, DSOR/SORA packages.
  • Develops and executes logistics and sustainment strategies, including Component Depot Activation (CDA) support.
  • Addresses Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) challenges through supply chain analysis and alternate sourcing strategies.
  • Supports transitions to Air Logistics Complex centers.
  • Aids in development of CBAs, ICDs, CDDs, and CPDs.
  • Maintains requirements traceability and provides decision-support analyses.
  • Supports development of T&E documentation including TEMPs.
  • Provides logistics analytical support focused on supply, reliability, and maintainability metrics.
  • Conducts Business Case Analyses (BCA) and trade studies.
  • Develops briefings and milestone documentation for leadership reviews.
  • Supports development of program office estimates, financial reports, and related analyses.
  • Collaborates with Product Support Managers, Material Support Managers, and functional specialists.
  • Aids in preparation of reports, memorandums, acquisition documentation, and source selection materials.

Requirements

  • US citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 12 years of experience in the respective discipline, including 5 years in the DoW.
  • Maintain an active Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a professional engineering discipline from an accredited educational program and 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoW setting.
  • Experience integrating logistics functions to plan, implement, or execute logistics programs.
  • Familiarity with the acquisition lifecycle and product support planning.
  • Understanding of DoW 5000-series acquisition processes.
  • Experience with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
  • Knowledge of PS-BCA, LCSP, and LHA processes.
  • Knowledge of DoW program planning, funding, and management systems.
  • Broad understanding of organizations involved in providing logistical support.
  • Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience (preferred but not required).
  • Logistics management; program planning and baseline documentation.
  • Experience with MIL-STD processes and products.
  • Knowledge of DoW 5000 series acquisition processes.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Strong team player and ability to work in cross-functional environments.
