About the role
U.S. Tsubaki is a leading manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products, offering state-of-the-art solutions as part of a global network. The Senior Logistics and Procurement Specialist will analyze and improve supply chain processes, focusing on sourcing, procurement, and logistics.
Responsibilities
- Manage MRO purchasing, develop vendor relationships, and implement cost savings.
- Initiate and oversee capital projects for building and operations, including obtaining competitive quotes and project oversight.
- Ensure accuracy of purchase order account and cost center coding; manage spending within budget.
- Coordinate supplier audits and assist in cost and quality discussions.
- Perform ocean transportation and domestic freight functions, including negotiations, rate analysis, Customs clearance, and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate inventory transactions between key Tsubaki companies.
- Visit and audit suppliers and production plants as requested.
- Handle other tasks, functions, and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 8 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, and logistics.
- ASCM Certification preferred.
- Self-motivated with a desire and talent for professional advancement.
- Strong planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
- High standards of integrity.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- ERP experience required; QAD experience is a major plus.

Pay
Estimated salary range: $80,000–$100,000 yearly. Individual pay is based on location, skills, expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
