Responsibilities
- Serve as principal analyst, technical expert, advisor to emergent procurement/manufacturing and logistics processes involving CNSL Littoral Combat ships’ HM&E and C5I equipment.
- Communicate and coordinate with various organizations in the Navy supply system to ensure delivery of parts when not available within in the Naval supply system or any other ready supply source.
- Manage and prioritize the flow of difficult to find or non-available system components to surface ships to meet operational requirements as set by CNSL, USFF, and OPNAV.
- Provide logistic and material readiness support to Readiness Operations Center-Materiel (ROC-M).
- Review and analyze various databases, applications, and message traffic to develop recommendations involving parts availability, procurement, transportation, trends, lessons learned and costs associated with the execution of emergent repair.
- Communicate with ISIC staff for cannibalization actions and other non-conventional procurement methods to optimize material readiness.
- Conduct business process analysis.
- Develop solutions and provide recommendations for process improvement.
- Prepare presentations and conduct briefings with military and civil service personnel at various levels.
- Collecting, reviewing, monitoring, and analyzing data received from internal/external logistics activities to ascertain the state of logistics readiness.
- Develop performance metrics, reports, briefs, presentations and demonstrations to compile data received/analyzed.
- Prepare draft messages, reports, briefs and presentations.
- Secret clearance-Must be Current
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, or related business discipline.
- Minimum of eight years of experience in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy logistics AISs management.
- As a substitute for a bachelor’s Degree, eight additional years of experience in a combination of Navy and logistics and AISs management is acceptable.
- In-depth experience in the use of eCASREP, RSUPPLY, OMMS-NG, MFOM. Logiquest and PMO Online
