Senior Loan Officer

About the role

The successful candidate will inherit an established $10 million agricultural portfolio consisting primarily of row crop and beef production relationships, with average loan sizes around $500,000-$1 million. The right candidate can come in as either an AVP, VP or even SRVP.

Responsibilities

• Play an active role in the credit approval process and serve on the loan committee
• Maintain and grow an established $10 million agricultural portfolio
• Make direct input into lending decisions and the overall direction of the bank
• Provide direct support to the CEO and other key stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending, with a focus on agriculture
• Strong relationship building skills and a proven track record of success in the field
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
• CLM (Certified Commercial Lender) designation preferred
