Senior LNG Project Engineer

About the role

Join our team as a Senior LNG Project Engineer and play a vital role in shaping the future of energy infrastructure. You will lead diverse projects from inception through execution in a collaborative setting that values innovation, safety, and excellence. The position is based in Quintana, TX, with a planned transition to downtown Houston, contributing to the growth of a high‑impact LNG enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee minor capital projects within the engineering team, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage project schedules.
• Uphold rigorous safety, compliance, and QA/QC standards.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, manage change‑management processes, and control project scopes and budgets.
• Influence project success across sites, transitioning from Quintana, TX to downtown Houston.

Required Skills

• Strong onsite operations experience at large industrial sites, specifically LNG facilities.
• Excellent project management skills, including scope development, scheduling, and resource coordination.
• Proven ability to handle multiple engineering disciplines and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and leadership abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, QA/QC practices, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency with project management tools, documents, and reporting software.
• Ability to develop and monitor KPIs, manage change‑management processes, and control project scopes and budgets.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with field activities management and contractor supervision.
• Familiarity with engineering systems, calculations, and digital tools relevant to LNG projects.
• Prior involvement in projects with international or multi‑site operations.
• Certifications such as PMP, PE, or relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, TWIC).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, or related disciplines).
• 8+ years of experience in LNG or similar industrial project environments.
• Demonstrated success managing multi‑disciplinary projects from planning to closeout.
• On‑site operational experience preferred, especially in large industrial sites and LNG facilities.

Other Requirements

• Valid, unexpired driver’s license for frequent travel between project sites and facilities.
• Ability to relocate from Quintana, TX to downtown Houston by Q2 2026.
• Willingness to work M‑F, 40‑hour workweeks, with occasional overtime based on project needs.
• Ability to operate in various environments, including outdoor weather conditions and industrial settings while adhering to PPE requirements.
