About the role
Merrill Gardens at Brentwood is currently seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting seniors and dedicated to providing an atmosphere that values individualism and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Absorb and follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
- Manage medication as allowed by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
- Complete progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.
Requirements
- Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
- CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
- Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Pay
Actual pay rate within stated pay range is determined based on relevant factors in compliance with state and local wage laws. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to pay upon hire.
Schedule
This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
