Senior Living Caregiver (Weekends Only)

About the role

Mission Ridge is currently seeking Caregivers to support residents in their beautiful community. Ideal candidates are compassionate, caring, responsible, and dedicated to the senior population.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as permitted by state regulations and complete daily progress reports.
• Prepare progress reports for Assisted Living and Garden House residents as needed, following charting guidelines.

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain certification.
• CNA license or at least two years of previous caregiving experience.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.
• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement throughout the workday.

• Passionate about working with seniors and providing dignity and individualism.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred but not required.
