Senior Living Caregiver (NOC Shift)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to join our team at Merrill Gardens at Hillsboro. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting seniors and committed to creating an atmosphere that values individualism and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as permitted by the state and complete daily progress reports of services provided.
• Prepare progress reports for Assisted Living and Garden House residents daily or more often as needed (reporting by exception).

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years of previous caregiving experience.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement throughout the workday.
