Senior Living Caregiver

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Caregivers to support our residents at Truewood by Merrill, Boise. Ideal candidates are compassionate, caring, responsible, and honest with a passion for working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry, and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state, and complete daily progress reports of services provided.

Requirements

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver.
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and assisting with resident care.
• Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement throughout the workday.
