About the Role
A recognized regional law firm in Seattle is seeking an experienced Defense Litigation Attorney to join their team, which handles a variety of general liability and complex and/or commercial litigation matters.
Responsibilities
- Handle general liability and complex/commercial litigation matters
- Motions practice and legal writing
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and trials
Qualifications
- 8+ years practicing as an Attorney in Washington State
- Juris Doctor with strong academic credentials
- Active Washington Bar license, in good standing
- Strong motions practice and legal writing skills
- Experience taking and defending depositions, mediations, arbitrations and trial, preferred
- Trial experience as a 1st chair, highly valued but not required
- Some experience handling insurance defense matters a plus

Pay & Schedule
- Salary range: $150,000–$195,000 base
- Additional structured bonus earnings available
- Standard billable target: 1800 hours
