- Government Contracts Associate (Counseling)
- Position Description: Counsel government contractors on legal aspects of government contracting, focusing on compliance, regulatory, and transactional matters.
- Requirements: Essential experience includes drafting, analyzing, and negotiating agreements, along with regulatory compliance experience. Desirable experience includes bid protests, suspension and debarment, compliance audits, and cybersecurity.
- Qualifications: Must be a team player, work independently and collaboratively, have 3-7 years of experience in Government Contracts, and be admitted to the Virginia Bar. Top 25 Law School or a graduate in GW Law Government Procurement Concentration preferred.
- Benefits: Hybrid position, billable hour requirement of 1,600 hours, salary range of $180,000 - $240,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
- Corporate Associate
- Position Description: Represent private equity funds, investors, and lenders in mergers and acquisitions, venture and equity investments, and debt transactions. Represent and advise companies in software-as-a-service, aerospace, defense, intelligence, and dual-use technologies.
- Requirements: At least 3 years of relevant corporate/transactional experience, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and bank or private placement lending. Experience with drafting and negotiating key business contracts and leading deals and transactions through closing is preferred.
- Qualifications: Minimum 3+ years (5+ years preferred) of relevant corporate/transactional experience, admission to the Virginia Bar, and experience with regulations applicable to government contractors is preferred.
- Benefits: Hybrid position, billable hour requirement of 1,600 hours, salary range of $180,000 - $240,000, dependent on qualifications and experience.
- Senior Litigation Associate
- Position Description: Represent clients in complex disputes and high-stakes matters, including commercial litigation, government contracts litigation, government investigations, internal investigations, and regulatory enforcement actions.
- Requirements: Essential experience includes handling litigation matters in federal and state courts, drafting and arguing motions, briefs, and other key filings, managing discovery, conducting and assisting with internal investigations, preparing investigative reports, and advising clients on risk mitigation and compliance.
- Qualifications: Must be a team player, work independently and collaboratively, have 4-8+ years of experience in litigation, investigations, or related disputes work, and be admitted to the Virginia Bar. Top 25 Law School or a graduate preferred, judicial clerkship in federal court desirable, experience with government investigations and congressional inquiries, and full-time work experience with a federal contractor or government agency is preferred.
