Overview

Every Turnberry consultant belongs to a practice, an internal group of consultants and leaders with shared experience and expertise. Each of these practices aligns to one of the core services Turnberry offers to clients. As a Senior Life/Annuity Manager, you will join Turnberry's Business Agility practice. Turnberry's Business Agility practice provides ways-of-working assessments with supporting improvement recommendations, Product Management and Agile Delivery education opportunities, team and enterprise-level Product and Agile coaching, and strategic staffing for each of the skills required to drive Agile and/or Project to Product transformation journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of admin system functionality for: New products and features, Business rules and workflows, UI screens and pages
  • Provide leadership to a team of business and technical staff to solve complex problems considering required business functionality, sustainability, and scalability of solutions
  • Drive continuous improvement to team standards and process focused on delivery quality and speed
  • Coach and develop talent within the team
  • Communicate effectively of issues, risks, and outcomes to key stakeholders
  • Support the Agile development framework and integration into company projects
  • Support and lead department initiatives, including process improvement, technology roadmap development, cross-organization collaboration, and other duties

Qualifications

  • Four year degree in technical discipline, Engineering, Business, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of experience required: ALIP or business configuration platforms implementing enterprise solutions
  • Five to seven years of experience required: Leading and directing business or IT solution delivery
  • Proven expertise in communication and expectation management
  • Deep understanding of annuity and life insurance functional areas from New Business to Post Issue covering the entire lifecycle of a policy
  • Self-directed problem solver who asks insightful questions to get to root causes
  • Technology, business and project certifications preferred

Pay

The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000 or the hourly equivalent. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Turnberry Solutions offers benefits such as a comprehensive healthcare package (medical, dental, vision), disability and group term life insurance, health and flexible spending accounts, a utilization bonus, 401(k) with match, flexible time off for salaried employees, parental leave for salaried employees, and flexible work arrangements (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
