SENIOR LEVEL CLOUD ARCHITECT in Broadway, NY

Summary Job Summary (Senior Level Cloud Architect Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) Primary Responsibility: Design and implement scalable, secure, multi/hybrid-cloud architectures primarily on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Develop cloud architecture standards, governance models, and frameworks for the organization. Key Technical Expertise: Mandatory: Extensive proficiency in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (6+ years). Strong experience in hybrid cloud environments and integrations (4 6 years). Deep knowledge of cloud networking, DevOps, automation, and security. Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus (1 2 years each). Proficient in cloud architecture documentation using Visio or Abacus. Additional Technology Skills: Experience with cloud servers, configuration, monitoring, system alerts, patching, and backups. Knowledge of database technologies: Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Golden Gate, RMAN. Familiarity with Linux/admin skills and platforms such as Exadata, ExaCC, DBaaS, OEM. Expertise in High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and Multi-Cloud Architecture. Automation skills (Terraform, Ansible, API/CLI scripting). SRE & DevOps practices, including monitoring, observability, and SLAs/SLOs/SLIs. Business & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Guide and support engineering teams, supplementing skill sets as needed. Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce cloud standards, governance, and best practices across cloud environments. Support cloud FinOps initiatives (cost optimization and management). Certifications: Current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) certification (Architect Professional or Associate) is strongly preferred and required for submission. Other Skills: Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and AI is a plus. Experience in product architecture assessment and road mapping. Work Environment: Hybrid work setup at , 2 Broadway NY 37.5 work hours per week. Tier 3 role requiring 7 9 years of overall relevant experience.
