About the role
As an independent contractor, this role requires strong expertise in data privacy and security practices. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant data protection regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data protection laws
- Provide guidance on data handling and storage practices
- Respond to data subject requests and inquiries
- Stay updated on emerging data privacy trends and regulatory changes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in data privacy and security
- Knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant data protection regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Experience working with data privacy tools and technologies
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
