Job Purpose: The Senior Legal Counsel serves as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders and functions across multiple countries and jurisdictions in the Caribbean Region. This role provides practical, business-oriented legal support on a broad range of commercial, corporate, regulatory, employment, compliance, governance, dispute resolution, and strategic business matters. The successful candidate will partner closely with senior management and cross-functional stakeholders to identify legal risks, develop practical solutions, and support business growth while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The role requires a highly adaptable attorney capable of managing diverse legal matters in a fast-paced international environment and coordinating with external counsel and regional legal teams worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Commercial and Business Transactions: Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide variety of commercial agreements, including: customer agreements, vendor and procurement contracts, service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other operational matters to protect DHL’s legal and business interests. Provide practical legal guidance to support business objectives while appropriately managing risk. Develop and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines.
• Regulatory and Compliance: Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting the company's operations globally. Provide guidance on applicable laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions in the Caribbean Region. Partner with Compliance, Internal Audit, HR, Procurement, Finance, and other functions to support company-wide compliance
