Position Summary
This position may be appointed as either Education Focused (EF) or Teaching & Research (T&R), depending on the successful candidate’s profile and experience.
Key Skills Required
- Education Focused (EF) Stream:
- PhD in Physiotherapy or related health / medical disciplines.
- AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist in Australia.
- Proven commitment to maintaining discipline knowledge and development.
- Clinical expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with potential for contribution to related areas.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Significant experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches.
- Evidence of professional development in teaching and a strong track record of teaching excellence.
- Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement.
- Demonstrated track record in research with high-quality and high-impact outcomes.
- Teaching & Research (T&R) Stream:
- PhD in Physiotherapy or related health / medical disciplines.
- AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist (or eligibility to seek registration).
- Clinical expertise in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, with potential for contribution to related areas.
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Significant track record in research leadership with high-quality and high-impact outcomes.
- Experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches and technologies.
- Excellent record of recruiting and supervising high-calibre HDR students.
- Extensive experience in teaching and learning design using a range of pedagogical approaches and technologies.
- Demonstrated leadership in building engagement and partnerships with the profession and industry.
- Significant track record in research with high-quality and high-impact outcomes.
