Senior Leave and Accommodation Manager

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day oversight of the leave and accommodation programs for all facilities nationwide.
- Ensure programs are managed in accordance with Federal, State, and Local leave and accommodation laws, including but not limited to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Pregnant Worker Fairness Act (PWFA).
- Oversee Leave and Accommodation case managers to ensure compliance and exceptional customer service.
- Provide support services such as case management, escalation support, data analytics, technology, training, leave of absence pay, Acquisition and Mergers support, and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with and support all stakeholders including executive leadership, facility HR, facility leaders, employees, benefits, payroll, and technology partners with process confirmation, standard program updates, and escalation support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Eight years' experience in Human Resources in a benefits, leave management, or generalist-related position, with a minimum of five years’ experience in interactive process administration.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state leave and disability laws, specifically ADAAA, FEHA, PWFA, FMLA, CFRA, CA PDL, NJFLA; experience with CA leaves and accommodations is required.
- Strong knowledge of the interplay between federal and state leave and disability laws.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of absence management integrated workflows, return-to-work strategies, interactive process workflows.
- Strong knowledge of benefits impacts while on leaves of absence.
- Strong knowledge of leave of absence pay integrations with wage replacement benefits.
- Ability to analyze, problem solve, organize, and manage multiple priorities, and effectively follow up in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships through strong interpersonal skills including consistent demonstration of solid professional judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including effective presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Healthcare environment with a high volume of leave and accommodation cases.
- Experience with Lawson, JBDev, or leave case management software.
- Experience managing leave and accommodation across the US.
- Experience working in union environments.

Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $85,280.00 to $114,774.40 on an annualized basis. The compensation estimate noted above is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
