Senior Lead Software Engineer, Full Stack

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers experienced in distributed microservices and full‑stack systems.
• Share passion for emerging tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and participate in internal and external technology communities.
• Mentor members of the engineering community and, when needed, write or evaluate code.
• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions that drive powerful customer experiences.
• Utilize programming languages and tools such as JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, Go, open‑source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply).
• Minimum 1 year of experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud).

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• 9+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
• 4+ years of experience with open‑source frameworks.
• 1+ year of people‑management experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
• Experience leveraging interactive AI tooling to accelerate productivity beyond basic code completion.

• Web technologies: HTML, CSS.
• Databases: Open‑source relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms: AWS (primary), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Agile development methodologies.

Pay

Plano, TX: $209,000 – $238,500 annual base salary for Senior Lead Software Engineer. Candidates hired in other locations will receive the pay range associated with that location. The role is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long‑term incentives.
