About the role
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Fiduciary Specialist to oversee a team of fiduciary professionals responsible for the administration of trust and other fiduciary accounts. The role involves engaging clients, advisors, and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience within a strong risk management framework.
Responsibilities
- Analyze trust and estate documents
- Implement client estate plans
- Ensure client accounts are managed in accordance with sound fiduciary principles and applicable law
- Engage clients, advisors, and internal partners to deliver a high-touch client experience
- Build and maintain a strong knowledge of internal policies and procedures
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and control development
- Serve as a subject-matter expert on fiduciary administration
- Resolve client complaints and approve discretionary distributions
- Lead team to achieve business objectives and drive execution
- Participate in Wells Fargo Trust's training and mentorship programs
- Participate in marketing and development initiatives
Requirements
- 7+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education
- Extensive experience in administering estates and deceased grantor trusts as an attorney or trust officer
- Knowledge of complex estate planning strategies including tax strategies
- Ability to read, interpret and explain will and trust documents, probate laws and tax provisions
- JD, LLM, CFP or CTFA designations
- Experience working with UHNW (Ultra High Net Worth) clients that have investable assets of $10MM +
Desired Qualifications
