Senior Lead Environmental Scientist
About the role
This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Senior Lead Environmental Scientist to support our Connecticut operations, in our Glastonbury and Shelton, CT offices. Be involved in projects with our Earth and Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Responsibilities
- Prepare environmental work plans and manage projects through completion, on time and budget
- Manage existing clients and develop new business
- Supervise, mentor and train junior staff
- Data analysis and interpretation to determine the next course of action
Requirements
- B.S. degree in geology, hydrogeology or environmental engineering
- CTDEEP Licensed Environmental Professional
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree is preferred
- Essential professional licensure/certification
- 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred
- Water supply development and permitting experience are not required, but a plus
- Proficiency with ESRI’s ArcGIS software is a plus

Pay
Expected Salary (all locations): $109,200 - $145,000
