About the role

The Senior Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated test equipment and test programs for product testing and design verification. They lead the procurement, qualification, and installation support for manufacturing processes, focusing on productivity improvements and cycle time reduction.

Responsibilities

  • Support development of production test strategies based on product design specifications.
  • Develop test plans and requirements for customer products, including both hardware and software elements.
  • Lead the procurement, qualification, and installation support for manufacturing processes for a large customer.
  • Provide project leadership, managing team members and suppliers for comprehensive test deployments, including structural, functional, system, stress, and final test applications for a large customer.
  • Work with Design to enhance solutions, incorporating feedback on product testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics, and user experience.
  • Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations, leading and driving complex problems related to product yield or test performance.
  • Support the sales process by providing support during the quoting process.

Requirements

  • Project Management: Ability to manage/lead complex, multi-line engineering projects, including technical, financial, and people aspects, creating a project/change management plan, and ensuring project delivery within time and budget constraints.
