Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Extensive command of core commercial banking solutions, including complex commercial lending structures, treasury management platforms, and integrated financial services that support commercial and large corporate clients
- Completion of a formal credit training program, demonstrating advanced proficiency in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and deal structuring
- Established professional network within the city of Chicago and the surrounding metropolitan area
- Proven history managing high-value commercial relationships within the $25MM to $100MM revenue segment, consistently delivering strategic advice and tailored financial solutions to sophisticated clients
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across the enterprise, effectively mobilizing cross-functional partners to deliver a unified, client-centric experience that strengthens institutional relationships
- Proven history driving new business growth, including sourcing, securing, and expanding long-term client relationships through strategic engagement and deep market knowledge
- Expertise in identifying, mitigating, and escalating risks, ensuring full adherence to compliance expectations, operational controls, and enterprise-wide governance standards
- Exceptional communication and executive presence, with advanced verbal, written, and interpersonal skills that effectively engage senior leadership, clients, and external stakeholders
